These step-by-step instructions will walk you through copying files from one course to another. Start in the course where you want to add the files.
- Choose Course Tools > Course Management.

- Choose Import / Export / Copy Componenets.

- From this screen, click the Search for offering button. Enter the CRN or course name and click Search.

- Find the course you want to copy from in the list
- Click the radio button in the left column.
- Then click the Add selected button.

- At the bottom of the screen, choose Select Components.

- Choose Course Files > Select individual items to copy.

- Click Expand all to display all the files in the course.

- Next locate the file or files you want to copy into the course. Check the box(es) to the left of the file name. Once all files have been selected, click Continue.

- Verify that a file(s) is selected, then press Finish.

- You can track the progress of the copy until it’s done!

- Navigate to where the new document will appear in the course and choose the Add Existing button.

- Click the More link.

- Choose Course File from this window.

- Find the document in the list and click it.

- The document is now listed in the correct folder and ready for students to view!
